MICRONEDLE + PLASMA

Micro-Needling with PRP

PRP Therapy with MicroNeedling

Topical PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy utilize microneedling to advance the healing of lasers and resurfacing treatments. PRP treatments are also used to boost the freshness of the skin and improve skin texture and tone.

A New Way to Make Collagen

The process is called Collagen Induction Therapy and is used to improve

  • Texture and tone
  • Surface scarring
  • Fine wrinkles

How does it work?

Micro needling is based on the use of tiny needles to create micro channels (tiny holes) in the skin.  The process  stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself and in the process produces collagen and elastin.

This repair process begins almost immediately and  results in a thicker dermis and softened wrinkles or scars.

The small channels in the epidermis close very quickly and the skin begins a healing response right away. Depending on the depth of the skin defect, you may see only redness or you may experience some pinpoint bleeding which stops almost immediately.

Why we use the automated MicroPen

  • Micro pen is able to deliver a  predictable healing experience.
  • Micro pen uses sterile single-use surgical grade disposable needle tips. There is no potential for cross contamination between patients because there is never a re-use of needles.
  • Adjustable needle penetration depths allows us to choose a custom treatment program for your specific skin problems and preferences for treatment aggressiveness.
  • Micro needling is safe for ALL skin types. This is a boost for skins that have a tendency to over react to heat based treatments or those with ultra sensitive skins which do not tolerate heat treatments well.

After the treatment

You’ll likely look as if you have a sunburn following treatment. This can last the rest of the day, to several days or a week depending on treatment depth.  Treat your skin gently and refrain from acid-containing products for a week or longer.

What areas can be treated?

Micro needling can safely be used on nearly all parts of the body with the most frequent treatments being on the

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Décolleté
  • Hands

What Can Be Treated by Micro-Needling?

Skin Texture & Scarring

Micro-needling is highly effective for treating surgery scars, uneven skin and texture, enlarged pores, chicken pox scars, burn scars, ice pick scars, appendectomy scars (appendix scar), burn scars, surgical scars, caesarian section (C-section) scars, breast enlargement scars, tummy tuck scarring treatment, and even wound scars.

Stretch Marks

The process of reducing stretch marks or treating stretch marks occurs as micro-needling promotes the production of new elastin and collagen fibers in the skin. The stretch marks should gradually fill in, and the skin should grow thicker, become tighter, and restore its elasticity. The speed at which stretch mark reduction can be achieved can vary depending on the severity of the stretch marks. However, visible changes may be detected in as little as a week with possible dramatic results in a month or less.

Hair Loss

Limiting hair loss and baldness in certain areas is something that a lot of people ask about. In recent studies, over a three month period, men who used micro-needling experienced a significant increase in hair growth, in addition to an average of 80 percent reduction in hair loss. The hair restoration and regrowth process has been shown to aid thinning hair, balding, bald spots, receding hairlines, alopecia and more conditions.

Fine Lines & Deep Wrinkles

Micro-Needling can be used to reduce sagging skin, deep wrinkles, fine wrinkles, and skin lines. It can also treat creases such as laughter lines, crow’s feet, smile lines, wrinkles on the forehead and scowl lines. Creases around the mouth or lips can also be treated such as smoker’s mouth. The neck and jaw line (including jowl lines), the chest (dècolletè), the backs of the hands and more are also areas that may benefit from micro-needling.

Acne Scar Reduction

Micro-needling is one of the most effective treatments for acne scar reduction. The procedure can be used to help clear mild acne scars such as brownish and reddish marks that are left behind after a pimple. Even severe acne scar types such as boxcar scars, ice pick scars, and rolling scars can be treated.
