Rejuvapen microneedling is a non-surgical, non-laser treatment that stimulates collagen production and skin cell renewal, tightening the skin and minimizing wrinkles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, large pores, and scarring. The results are better circulation and improved overall skin health.
The treatment uses a special device with precisely spaced microneedles that create tiny perforations in the upper skin layers. This effectively turns on the skin’s self-healing processes, causing it to produce more collagen and elastin in response. With the Rejuvapen microneedling treatment, your skin naturally heals itself, giving you firm, younger looking skin.
Rejuvapen microneedling stimulates your skin’s natural ability to rejuvenate, helping to correct the appearance of:
The Rejuvapen is versatile, with varying microneedle depths that can reach any part of the body that needs skin rejuvenation, including:
Rejuvapen procedures usually take about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area treated.
Rejuvapen microneedling has minimal discomfort, and your med spa technician will apply a topical numbing agent 15 minutes before your procedure. The special device used is adjustable for any skin type or sensitivity level.
Rejuvapen treatments have very little downtime. Your skin will have a pink glow similar to a sunburn that lasts about 24 hours. You can get back to your normal activities, including driving, immediately after your procedure. To optimize healing, your practitioner will prescribe a skincare routine for you to use at home.
You’ll see visible results after one treatment, with optimal results after about three to four treatments, depending on the condition treated.
Each individual will have a different treatment plan depending on skincare goals and skin health. For most people, we recommend four treatments about four weeks apart for best results. People will deeper wrinkles and advanced conditions may need six to eight sessions at four to six-week intervals. We also recommend a maintenance plan to help your results last longer, which will be determined based on your individual needs.
You may not be a candidate for Rejuvapen treatments if you have:
Be sure all skin infections such as fever blisters and fungal or bacterial infections are resolved one week before your treatment. If you have a history of fever blisters, you may need a prescription medicine before the procedure.
It’s best to wait two weeks after a BOTOX® or Dysport treatment, or filler injectable treatments, before your Rejuvapen microneedling procedure.
If you have had BBL, laser or laser resurfacing treatments, we recommend you wait one month before your Rejuvapen session.
